Pennsylvania Personal Injury Lawyer Tim Rayne Working Remotely Despite COVID-19 Pandemic

Pennsylvania Personal Injury Lawyer Tim Rayne is working remotely on his current clients’ cases and is accepting new clients despite the COVID -19 pandemic social distancing orders.

Although the COVID-19 virus has closed MacElree Harvey physical law offices to visitors and clients pursuant to the Governor’s Orders, Tim Rayne and the whole Personal Injury Team at MacElree Harvey have full access to clients’ files online.  Tim and the team continue to work on clients’ cases remotely and push them forward towards settlement or trial.

For cases that are not yet in litigation, Tim is gathering medical records and communicating with experts and insurance adjusters to try to bring cases to negotiated settlements.

For cases that are in litigation, all courts are essentially closed for business regarding Personal Injury claims and depositions and other Discovery events are being cancelled for the sake of safety.  Nevertheless, to the extent possible, Tim continues to work on the litigated matters and will be ready to move them forward when courts open.

With regard to new Personal Injury cases, Tim is advising potential new clients on the phone and can conduct video meetings online.

2016 Brandywine Polar Plunge a Great Success

On February 20, 2016, Tim Rayne carried on a Longwood Rotary Club tradition by participating in the Brandywine Polar Plunge.

With air temperature a comforatable 50 degress but water temp a chilly 30, Tim waded and then dove into the Brandywine River with a few hundred arguably crazy people.

It was all for a great cause with the proceeds benefiting the Brandywine Red Clay Alliance, a non-profit committing to protecting and preserving Pennsylvania land and waterways. The Longwood Rotary Club alone raised over $1,000 to support the Alliance leading to the Club winning a Golden Plunger Award.

Brandywine Polar Plunge on February 20, 2016

As incoming President of the Longwood Rotary Club, Tim Rayne will be continuing the club’s tradition of taking the Polar Plunge into the Brandywine River as a participant in the Brandywine Red Clay Alliance 2016 Polar Plunge.

The event will be held at the Brandywine Picnic Partk on February 20, 2016 with registration 10 to 11, costume awards at 11:15 and the Plunge into the Brandywine River at 11:30.

Registration fees are $35 and $25 for students.  Participants are encouraged to form teams and raise money.

Proceeds benefit the Brandywine Red Clay Alliance which protects and conserves the natural resources of the Brandywine and Red Clay Valleys.  Since 2008, nearly 1,200 people have taken the Plunge and raised over $100,000.

It’s looks like it’ll be about 50 degrees at plunge time.  See you there!!!!

Longwood Rotary Gala on April 9, 2016 With “Roaring Twenties” Theme

The Kennett Square Pennsylvania service club, Longwood Rotary has scheduled its annual fundraising Gala on April 9, 2016 and has selected the them “The Roaring Twenties.”  The venue is, once again, the world famous Longwood Gardens Conservatory.  Dress is black tie optional.

The Gala will begin at 6:30 p.m. with shuttles transporting guests from the Visitor Center to the Conservatory will they will enjoy Open Bar and Hors d’Oeuvres.  At 7 p.m., the Dinner Stations and Dance Floor will open with live music from the ecletic jazz band Gin Canaries.  Later in the evening musical entertainment will be provided by DJ Dave Moore.  The Gala ends at 11 p.m.

Throughout the evening, guests will have the opportunity to bid on over a hundred Silent Auction items including art, trips, baskets and many specialty items including unique experiences with Longwood Rotary Club members.

All proceeds of the Longwood Rotary Gala help to fund the many non-profit organizations and other charitable endeavors that the Longwood Rotary Club supports.  For example, proceeds from previous Galas helped renovate the Kennett Senior Center Bookstore and funded construction of  the Kennett YMCA Rotary Leadership Tower.

West Chester Old-Fashioned Christmas Parade 2015

One of the best Holiday events in all of Chester County Pennsylvania is the West Chester Old-Fashioned Christmas Parade which takes place in downtown West Chester Borough on December 4, 2015 starting at 7:15 p.m.

The parade is sponsored by QVC and will be televised on the QVC shopping channel on Christmas Day.

The West Chester Old-Fashioned Christmas Parade will include hundreds of dancers, performers and musicians.  Dozens of events surround the parade so be sure to come downtown early to enjoy all of the fun.
