Walmart Driver Truck Driver Guilty of Fatigued Driving in Fatal Crash

The Walmart truck driver who caused the fatal truck crash that killed one and seriously injured 4 including comedian Tracy Morgan was found guilty of fatigued driving by the National Traffic Safety Board.

The NTSB conducted an extensive investigation into this high profile truck accident.

Shockingly, the crash investigation revealed that the Walmart driver drove 800 miles from his home in Georgia to his Walmart in Delaware (a 12 hour drive) immediately before beginning his 14 hour shift as a Walmart delivery truck driver.  The fatal accident happened just a half hour before the end of the truck driver’s long shift.  The NTSB found the truck driver guilty of fatigued driving.

The NTSB also found that the truck driver was speeding in a construction zone, driving 65 in a 45 zone which contributed  to the deadly crash.

The truck accident resulted in personal injury and wrongful death lawsuits.

To its credit, Walmart accepted responsibility and settled the lawsuits with the truck accident victims.

In addition, Walmart promised to institute fatigued driver training to prevent future truck accidents.

Fatal Car Accident in Chester County Pennsylvania

On August 4, 2015, there was a major car crash that occurred at the T intersection of Route 401 and Fairview Road in Chester County Pennsylvania. Unfortunately, the car collision resulted in a fatality.  It appears that the car crash may have resulted from a failure to stop at a stop sign.

Unsealed Cosby Deposition Will Help Sexual Assault Victims in Defamation Lawsuits

Most recently, the Cosby headlines originated from Philadelphia Federal Judge Eduardo Robreno’s decision to unseal Cosby’s deposition testimony in the 2005 Philadelphia sexual assault lawsuit of Constand v. Cosby.  The depositions testimony contains staggering admissions by Cosby that he  obtainined drugs and used them with young women whom he was targeting for sex.

This shocking admission corroborates what dozens of women have been saying for years, namely that Cosby posed as a mentor or father figure but then drugged them and forced them into performing various sexual acts.  Many of the victims have never sought justice, but a few have.
