Hi, my name is Tim Rayne, and I’m a Pennsylvania Personal Injury attorney. Today’s legal tip is part of a continuing series, “Ten Ways to Hurt or Kill Your Pennsylvania Personal Injury Case.”
Today’s way is by not following medical advice. If you’ve been injured in an accident, and are treating with doctors, you really need to follow the advice of your doctors. If you don’t trust your doctors, get new ones. But if you trust your doctors, and they’re advising you, with regard to medical treatment, you really need to listen to them.
If you don’t, if you don’t listen to medical advice or if you miss appointments, if you don’t get treatment that’s recommended, it can hurt your case. It allows the insurance company to argue that you must not really be hurt, if you’re not listening to the advice of your doctor. That’s our legal tip for the day. Again, my name is Tim Rayne. I’m a Pennsylvania Personal Injury attorney. Please don’t hesitate to contact me by phone or e-mail, if you have any other questions. Please understand, that unless you retain me, I’m not your attorney. Thank you.
